Summary 　For Chernobyl accident, the airline pilots, radiologists, and residents in areas with high background radiation, the health effects of low-dose radiation were epidemiologically studied. From these epidemiological studies, long-term exposure to low-dose radiation was found to be statistically insignificant for health effects to no radiation-exposed people.
