Summary
Osteoporosis is an age-related skeletal disorder characterized by compromised bone strength predisposing to an increased risk of fracture. Fractures in the elderly, severely impair motor function induced a bedridden increase mortality. In this paper, we discuss age-related bone volume and bone quality change that induced osteoporosis, and therapeutics for treatment of osteoporosis.
